Classroom Displays in Upper Key Stage 2
There are some wonderful displays to see in Years 5 and 6.
Year 5 studied World War II and the war effort in Great Britain.
They looked at how York was affected and enjoyed a visit to the Eden Camp Museum.
They created some very colourful and
detailed watercolour flowers in the
style of Georgia O'Keeffe.
In science Year 5 investigated the water cycle.

Year 6 looked at 'Passive' language in literacy.
In ICT they created 'Passive' leaflettes for an
imaginary hotel - and even some about our school!
Everyone in Year 6 worked hard on their topic about World War II.
The watercolour poppies were painted in the style of Georgia O'Keeffe.
Personification was used in the poetry written by Year 6 to describe 'Night'.
