The School Council worked hard last

term helping to do an audit of energy use in school and gathering ideas from classmates on how to save energy.

This term we will be reporting back to the staff and the rest of the school with a view to implementing many of the ideas. We will also be looking at waste

and recycling.

To support this work we visited the Environment Centre in St Nicholas Fields.

We were able to see practical examples of energy saving & recycling and had the opportunity to talk to an advisor about

what we do in school now and how

we could improve our carbon footprint.
