Year 5 Visit Tropical World
As part of our work on Rainforests of the World,
we took a trip to Tropical World in Leeds.
We studied how different plants and animals
have adapted to their habitats.
Take a look at some of the things we saw . . .
Camouflaged caterpillars . . .
. . . and their chrysalis'.
Beautiful butterflies . . .
. . . fearsome fish . . .
and lazy, lounging lizards.
Fabulous flowers . . .
and fascinating foliage.
An army of ants on the march . . .
. . . and tired terrapins.
And everyones favorite - a Mound of Meerkats.

After all that Tropical heat it was time to take a break in the playground and cool off with delicious ice cream!
