Every year, Years 5 and 6 have the opportunity to take part in a tag rugby tournament.  Coaches from York City Knights come to school to train the pupils in preparation for this tournament.

The 2006 team played really well, winning two matches and drawing two matches, which meant they won their group and went into the playoffs. In a tense match between Lord Deramore's and Haxby Road the Deramore's team won and went through to the final.

The 2007 team have started training.  Watch this space to see how well they do!
