Play Area Opening
On 17th March 2011 we were joined by the
Lord Mayor of York, the Lady Mayoress and the
Sheriff of York for the opening of our new
Outdoor Play Area and Forest Schools
learning equipment development.
Mr Danby also joined us. He and his team
have worked hard on this project.
Year 5 & 6 School Council representatives
escorted the party to the play area where
the whole school was waiting.
The Lady Mayoress talked to the Early Years children as she walked past. . .
. . . and so did the Sheriff of York.
Mrs Powley welcomed everyone.
The Lady Mayoress cut the ribbon to
officially open the Play Area.
The party had a good look round -
and even sat on the train!
Mrs Gulliver had joined us for the occasion
and brought her new baby, Jake,
on his first 'official' engagement!
