Green Thumbs Gang
Our 'Green Thumbs' gang has had a busy year. Last Autumn we planted bulbs for a bright Spring display, in Spring we planted potatoes, onions and lettuce and in Summer we planted french beans, spring onions, radish, more lettuce, broccoli and carrots.
We harvested some crops before the Summer school break and last week we harvested and sold radish, beans and windfall apples from the school grounds.
The money we raised will be used to buy more seeds for spring and we shall be planting bulbs again in November, ready for Spring to arrive.
