Fundraising
  
         
 
We take part in many fundraising events in school. Here are some of the activities we have enjoyed.
 
         
 
We would like to thank everyone very much for the generouse donations made following our successful Christmas productions this year.

We raised the amazing sum of £411.63 for Neuroblastoma Children's Cancer Alliance UK following the EY & Key Stage 1 performances.
A donation of £ 165.44 was made to MacMillan Cancer Support following the Key Stage 2 performances.
 
         
   
Harvest Festival donations of produce were this year donated to York Arc Light which provides shelter and support for the homeless in our city.
 
         
 

  

       

In October 2011 we had a non uniform day with everyone wearing their jeans and other

denim items in support of Jeans for Genes.

Well done to everyone who contributed. We raised a total of £165.29 this year!

  
           
   

In July the whole school took part in a

'Penalty Shoot Out', organised by Mr Iddon.

This raised a very impressive £512.40 which will fund new

PE Equipment for everyone in school to enjoy.

 
         
 
         
 

Another event towards the end of the summer term was a

Second Hand Book Sale, organised by the School Council.

They worked very hard, supported by Mrs Lee, and made an amazing £250.96.

This will be used to purchase some much needed new games for

everyone to share during wet, indoor playtimes this winter.

   
         
 

Thank you to everyone who contributed this year. We made £70.30 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Day Appeal.

 
         
 

Our first event of the school year in 2009 was in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

We held a coffee morning and had a cake sale, raising the grand total of £655.74!

    
         
   

   School was a bright and colourful scene in October 2009 when everyone wore pink and yellow in aid of St Leonards Hospice.

We raised a total of £156.55.

 
         
     
         
 

We would like to thank everyone who has purchased from the Puffin Book Club that we run in school.

During 2009 orders totalled £857 which has enabled us to keep our library and classrooms well stocked with the latest book titles. Thank you!
