Year 6 were given the

opportunity to work with the

National Centre For Early Music.

They prepared a concert

about Francis Drake's travels.

This was to be performed as part

of the 2010 York Early Music Festival.

The children worked

with Cathryn Drew

& Andrew Passmore

from the centre.

Actor Mark Payton joined the

children for the performance.

The performance took place in the

MEDIEVAL St Margarets Church, Walmgate, York.
