A local, friendly and fun playgroup for children ages 2½ to 5.

  Session times:

  Monday - Friday 9:00am to 12:00 - for children who are 3 or over

  Tuesday 12:30pm - 3:00pm - Early Starter session for children aged over 2½

  High staff:child ratio. OFSTED inspected. Nursery grants accepted

WHAT IS TODDLERS?

Toddlers is a group for all babies and children under school age.  We welcome all parents/carers to join us for a chance to socialise with other adults, while the children enjoy playing with toys and meeting other small children.

At toddlers we will be happy to answer any questions you may have about toddlers and pre-school.

DAYS AND TIMES (school terms only)

Toddlers takes place every Monday afternoon during school term time.  Sessions run from 1:15pm until 3pm (prompt).  We have the provision of inside and outside play areas.

WHAT HAPPENS AT OUT TODDLER GROUP?

When the children arrive there will be a variety of toys and activities set out for them to choose from.  We generally have free play for at least an hour after arrival.  It is appreciated if everyone contributes to tidying up before snacks and drinks are served.  We all encourage the children to help tidying up too.

During the session, we normally like to sing and/or play intsruments together.  As we have direct access to play outside, please make sure the children have appropriate clothing for the weather.

COST

Your first session will be free of charge.  After that, each session costs £1 for both parent/carer and child.  There is a charge of £1 for each additional child.  Please pay when you arrive and try to bring the correct money as cash is not kept on the premises.  Toddlers is a non-profit making group that is run alongside the Pre-school and managed by the Pre-school committee.  Any donations/contributions of snacks would be gratefully received.
