Boys Football 2011

The boys have taken part in numerous league and cup competitions this year. They became winners of the league for the third year running - remaining unbeaten!
They were also semi finalists in the York League Trophy and came third in the Champions League Tournament.
This season they have scored over 70 goals in the league - conceding only three!
Harry has had a tremendous first year in goal and, with Euan and Edward solid in defence, they only conceded three goals. Kieran has played exceptionally well as a striker while Milan showed flair as a winger. Fergus has now represented the school for three years and both he and Joe have worked hard, making significant improvements to their game, greatly helping the team. Nicholas, Max and Callum have all played well when they were needed and Oliver is the schools' Sports Personality of the Year!
To achieve this sucess, the whole squad has trained hard all year and worked well as a team, making significant improvements together.
Mr Iddon would like to thank the squad for a great season and give his best wishes to those who are leaving our school this year.
Next year sees the building of a new team and we look forward to continued success.
