Adrian Townsend Visits School
The author Adrian Townsend came to visit us.
He told us about his three most important writing tools - his garden shed, a nice pen and his notebook.
His inspiration came from normal, everyday things and events around him and he often thought
"What if. . . ? "
He entertained us by reading from one of his
"Gran's Gang" books.
The idea for these books came when he saw
a group of boys on a street corner.
They had roller blades and skate boards
and were swinging on a gate.
He thought " What if they were Grannies . . . ?"
