Welcome To Lord Deramore's Primary School

Lord Deramore’s School is a co-educational school maintained by the City of York Council. Together with Playgroup and Toddlers we cater for 230 children aged between three and eleven. The school has served the community of Heslington for over one hundred and fifty years, since opening its doors in 1856. As the nearby University of York grows, so our school community becomes more diverse, welcoming children from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
